Built in the same period as the castle where the suzerain then lived, these old residences belonged to the vassals. These dwellings, some of which are perfectly preserved, belong to individuals and are not open to visitors. However, they remain an obligatory point of passage for anyone wishing to discover the history of the town. To better appreciate them, a hiking trail is dedicated to them.
Here you can admire:

– Château de la Carte : built in the 15th century, it houses a dovecote, a chapel and stables.
– Logis de la Roche Cantin, private property that has become a gîte and bed and breakfast.
– Manoir de Vallières, ancient fortress of the 15th century.
– Château des Francs : built on the site of an ancient fortress. Today, in a landscaped park, the Château des Francs houses a nursing home. A beautiful 16th century dovecote still stands in the park.
– Logis de Vauvert (current town hall of Cherveux).
Located next to the castle, the Saint-Pierre church was built in the 12th century and underwent major alterations at the beginning of the 20th century. It was during this same period that the stained glass windows were changed; they present a long list of saints. Strolling through the central nave is highly recommended.
