Eglise Notre-Dame
Historic site and monument, Church
in François
-
After the sale of the old Romanesque church as national property (after the Revolution), François was left without a church.
In 1825, the commune agreed to the construction of a new Catholic place of worship on land donated by Mrs. Emilie Hocard
by Mrs Emilie Hocard, owner of the Brissonne. The church was thus built around 1826.
An old cemetery can be seen below on the right-hand side.
