Walk to the islands of Candé

On the banks of the Sèvre Niortaise, the islands of Candé are home to a lush ecosystem. A promenade invites you to explore. Since February 2022, this fragile wetland has been placed under the protection of the Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels (CEN) Nouvelle-Aquitaine. There are indeed some flora and fauna species threatened with extinction.
