Go back in time

This museum invites you to discover or rediscover ancestral traditions. Come live a unique experience in a museum with rich collections, guided by dedicated volunteers. They bring the past to life and invite you to share the daily life of the Poitevin peasants of this Protestant “country” in the 19th century. In a carefully studied staging rich in testimonials, each object comes to life and gives substance to life stories, those of the inhabitants of these places. Food, education, clothing, the museum allows a discovery of the rural world suitable for young and old.
